The Capital Development Authority (CDA) said on Saturday that fencing on both sides of the Islamabad Expressway will be completed by the end of June.

The decision was made by the CDA officials of the meeting.

The aim was to fence the route from Faizabad to Koral, according to the meeting. By June 30, the project will be done. All of the graves along the road will be enclosed as well. Work on 12 kilometres has been accomplished thus far.

Fences are also being constructed on the Margalla hills, with construction beginning in Noorpur Shahan.

The conference was also updated about the continuing construction on Margalla Road by the member engineering.

He stated the D-12 section’s last point, where an overpass will be built near a cemetery, will be completed in two weeks. This portion will be finished this year since no land is being bought between GT Road and D-12.
