Amer Ali Ahmad, the CEO of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), visited the Rawal Dam Chowk Flyover construction site on Wednesday. He was informed during his visit that the main portion of the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover had been finished.

According to the specifics, the flyover’s asphalt construction has been finished, and the surrounding area is presently being raised.

Additionally, traffic lane marking has begun, and in a few days, lane marking and art work will both be finished. Jersey barriers will be finished in the next two to three days, after which the bridge and Rawal Dam Chowk flyover will be made accessible to the public.

Depending on the weather, the remaining construction on the underpass will be finished in the next 20 to 30 days. A CDA spokesperson stated that in addition to the Rawal Dam Chowk flyover, it is anticipated that the 7th Avenue Interchange would also be mostly finished by August 14. Within a few weeks, the Suhrawardy Road underpass will be finished. Due to the ongoing efforts of CDA administration, two significant landmark projects are almost finished on schedule. The capital city’s traffic will be less congested thanks to these developments.
