Amir Ali Ahmed, Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA), instructed the water directorate on Thursday to improve the water delivery in Islamabad and to solve the water supply crisis in the Capital Territory Islamabad where people are having trouble getting water supply.

Director Water Supply Sardar Zimri informed the chairman on the water supply condition in Islamabad during his visit to the Rawal Water Treatment Plant.

Residents of Sector G-7, G-8, and I-8 are receiving treated water from the Plant. Director of Water Supply with his team is working hard to ensure the capital’s citizens had enough water, and that about four million gallons of water had been added to the supply from Simli Dam.

It’s worth noting that the federal apex agency has saved more than 20 million gallons of water by repairing leaks in various areas.
