Capital Development Authority’s (CDA) enforcement bureau has demolished 20,511 illegal buildings and reclaimed 13,000 kanals of public land from illegal inhabitants in the last five years.
According to the reports from officials, CDA has carried out 6,012 anti-encroachment operations around the federal capital in the previous five years in order to demolish illegal buildings.
After receiving complaints and establishing facts, the policemen were disciplined severely for their carelessness.
Seven workers were placed on leave while investigations into the conduct of two officials were ongoing; nevertheless, five employees were handed warning letters for desertion of duty.
