With the help of the Islamabad Administration and Islamabad Police, the Capital Development Authority (CDA) put an end to the cutting of the mountainous land in Shah Allah Ditta village.
The move was initiated in response to claims that a mafia is chopping small mountains and selling the stone for building.
The operation was conducted by Deputy Commissioner Islamabad Hamza Shafqaat, who made some arrests while seizing cars loaded with stones. The unlawful chopping of mountains, according to an authority, is destroying Shah Allah Ditta’s natural beauty.
Meanwhile, a new operation against encroachment along IP Road was started. The greenbelt was retrieved from car factories during the operation. A number of kiosks and boundary barriers were also torn down.
So, CDA will be working effortlessly to stop the stone cutting in Shah Allah Ditta.
