Prime Minister Imran Khan inaugurated the 38.3Km Rawalpindi ring road from Banth Morr to Thalian Interchange today. A total of 8,992 Kanals of land was purchased for the this project, which cost roughly 6.72473 billion rupees.
The contract for the development of the Rawalpindi ring road is a highly anticipated project. Frontier Work Organization (FWO) was granted a total Rs 22.8 billion budget to develop this project. Prime Minister Imran Khan performed the inaugural ceremony at the Thallian interchange.
Rawalpindi Ring Road offers numerous opportunities for investors, residents as well as travelers. This project is supposed to resolve traffic bottlenecks that is very common on highway passing through Rawalpindi.
