The government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) has approved a total of Rs29 billion for development projects, including the construction of 10 new police stations and three checkpoints in the Malakand division.

The projects were approved at a meeting of the Provincial Development Working Party (PDWP), which was chaired by Shahab Ali Shah, extra secretary. According to the provincial administration, a digital city will be built in Harpur districts for the promotion of information technology at a cost of Rs1.3 billion.

The PDWP also approved the construction of a two-kilometer flyover in Charsadda’s Kala Dher district, as well as a road from Mardan’s Katlang Bazaar. The government has set aside Rs3.30 billion for both projects. The government estimates that more than 4 lakh people will gain.

PDWP also approved the Rs2 billion development of a 16-kilometer road from Kohat Road to Shamshutu, as well as the Warsak left bank canal.

These development projects will change the whole structure of KP and due to these development projects, the residents of KP will be benefited a lot.
